We have now been able to put our updated Register for mammals on line and hope you will enjoy using it regularly. It is based on records and observations of local enthusiasts. Hopefully this will grow into a permanent and extensive record of mammals in our Nature Reserve as well as serve as a readily available reference source.
This register not only lists sightings of each species, it also lists events, meetings, documents and comments relevant to each species. We also have links to other sites which are of interest by giving further information for each mammal.
We can only achieve a full and growing record with YOUR help. There are many visitors to our Reserve who hear and see wildlife during their visits, but most of this information is never recorded. This is precisely the information we should include in this permanent record in order to give us an insight into mammals in our Nature Reserve and of course wildlife as a whole. Please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can achieve these aims. As a regular contributor you would be included in our list of Contributors with your agreement.
